2nd Day of internship

Today is the 2nd day of my internship with Amdon Consulting Pte Ltd.

Project
I was grouped with two other interns, both from RI. We were tasked to make an educational game together.

My job
We will definitely be doing the game on flash MX. And since I only know how to create small animations with flash MX and I'm more accustomed to creating graphics, I will be in charge of the graphics and game design. The other two know how to do lots of programming. Together we'll make the game a success.

I'll be using flash MX and Adobe Photoshop.

Whats happening right now.
We've chosen the topic "Chemistry - Elements Compounds and Mixtures".

We've come up with many types of game we could do.
1) Adventure game where you change some obstacles to make sure your character can move on. Eg. Rust Yard from www.nitrome.com

2) Bubble game, where you aim and shoot at bubbles of the same colour to pop. Except the bubbles now become atoms and we've to combine them to make compounds. Eg. Faerie bubbles from www.neopets.com

3) iPhone Bubble game, where you drag bubbles of the same colour together to pop them. Except the bubbles now become atoms and we've to combine them to make compounds. The game is in the Apple iPhone.


We've yet to decide this. We will be discussing this next time.
